PAWS of Austin would like to thank all our adopters, fosters and
donors. We cannot do this rescue work without your help and support. The
more help we get from you, the more animals we can save.
You can help us continue the work we do, to provide quality care for the
many homeless pets that are brought to us, continue to increase public
awareness regarding animal welfare issues and help in prevention of
animal cruelty.
There are many ways you can help and we believe that whether you are a
private business, a veterinarian, a corporation or an individual, there
is a positive role you can all play in assisting animals in need.
PAWS of Austin is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization. We
rely on the community for help and support. Your donations allow us to
continue the work we do -
Save animal's lives.
We would like to continue to provide quality care for the many homeless
pets that are brought to us, as well as increase public awareness and
prevent cruelty to all animals, but we cannot do this work without your
help and support.
Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution. Your donation will
help us provide necessary veterinary care for the animals we rescue. It
will make a difference in how many animals we can rescue, especially
those with special needs.
When making a donation, you may request that your $$ will be used for a
specific project, or it may be used to sponsor a dog with special needs.
Either way, your $$ will make a difference.

Our needs are diversified. We accept pet supply such as food,
bedding, treats, crates, blankets and towels. We also accept donations
such as household items and vehicles.
You can donate your car, truck, trailer, boat or cycle to benefit PAWS.
We will make arrangements to conveniently and quickly pick-up your
vehicle donation at no cost to you. We will handle the title transfer
requirements and provide you with a tax deductible donation receipt.
Each donated vehicle is resold at public auction and the revenue is used
to fund cruelty investigations and veterinary care for abused and
neglected animals.
Another way you can help is by fostering a dog. The more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save.
To become a foster family, please fill out our

Choosing a rescue dog to sponsor is a great opportunity for those who cannot adopt or foster.
The average cost to care for each rescue dog is approximately $280 (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, HW/flea preventative and of course food). Many of our dogs need additional medical care such as Heartworm treatment, dental care, mange treatments and emergency surgeries. Cost of veterinary care does add up and we rely on caring people to help us fund these treatments. If you would like to become a sponsor, you can make monthly donations, or you can go to our Special Need page and sponsor a specific dog in need.
