Sophie is a 6-month old Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. Prior to joining our group, Sophie had been on the streets probably since she was able to open her eyes and strong enough to walk. Although she is now in a safe and loving home, she is still very shy of people. We hope that with time, Sophie will understand that there is love in the world and she count on it to be constant in her life.

Blue is a beautiful, 5-year old, male Chihuahua. He is sweet and affectionate and we are happy to see him in his new adoptive home.

Ryker is a sweet, young Min Pin mix. This handsome boy could give Joey from "Friends" a run for his money! He's got that same suave style, he will listen to you for hours on end, he'll never for get to call, and he likes to cuddle! He's now got a new adoptive family to charm.

Candy is a 1-year old, 6-lb. female Chihuahua-Spider mix. Or maybe she's part Octopus, it's hard to know for sure. She can be shy at first but quickly turns into a dynamic but dainty Jet-girl of high-flying fun! Her wait for a wonderful home is over and she has now been adopted!

Petey is a small, 4-year old, male Chihuahua. Petey has so much personality stuffed into his 5-pound body and if you're lucky, he'll let you see how he prays. He is very sweet, good with people and other pets, and happy in his new adoptive home.

Edie is the cutest little thing with big ears and wide bright eyes. Edie is a female, black Chihuahua with white markings. She is about 8-9 weeks old in this picture and has been adopted into a wonderful home.

Bruce (formerly Julius) is a BIG boy. He is a black Great Dane about 2-3 years old. Bruce was abandoned by his previous owners, left in the backyard after they moved. His new adopted family now has the job of fattening Bruce up as he can stand to gain about 40-50 more pounds.

Alexander is a gorgeous Mantle Great Dane (black with white chest and white feet). He is 18 months old and was very skinny when he came to us. His new adoptive family is now giving him love, training and lots of good food.

This is cute Cisco, a tiny Chihuahua who is vision impaired. He is a very lovable boy and now has a home that understands his handicap. Not that it gets in his way; he is very smart and as long as the furniture isn't moved around much, he will run around the house as if he has no vision problem.

Dixie is 4-1/2 months old in this picture and is a female, purebred Boxer. She is sweet, loving, playful and oh-so-cute. She is now safe and sound with a new adoptive family.

Penny (formerly Comet) is the cutest little Chiweenie, a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. She is an adorable little girl who weighs only 5 pounds and is 8 months old in this picture. Penny is very friendly, loves other dogs, and aims to please the people in her life so we think her new adoptive family is very lucky to have her!

Barney (formerly Sheldon) is a beautiful little mix of undetermined origin. He weighs 18 pounds and is about 1-2 years old in this picture. He is very well behaved and has made a great addition to his new family.

This boy is the sweetest thing that you will ever meet. Leonardo is a young, black and brown, apple-head Chihuahua. Unfortunately for Leonardo, he suffered a serious injury, possibly a snake bite, to his eye and it had to be surgically removed. He is now safe and happy in his new home where he loves to be carried around.

This sweet little cotton ball is just under 2 years old. Olivia has a very tender soul and becomes very attached to her person. She is now much loved in her new adoptive home.

Mr. Jingles was a Christmas puppy. At 8 weeks old, he was given to a family as a Christmas gift and they promptly turned him into the shelter the day after Christmas. Fortunately, our little Mr. Jingles has been adopted by a family who really wants him. Mr. Jingles may be a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix and will probably weigh about 10 lbs. when full grown.

Archie is a cream colored, 9-month old Miniature Poodle. He is very sweet and very playful. He likes people, children and other dogs.

Pogo is a 1-2 year old bouncing bundle of special Chihuahua boy. Regardless of his deformed front leg, he is full of life, very playful, and down right rambunctious at times. He loves to give kisses, is very trusting of people (surprisingly), and just an all-around GOOD Boy!

"Can one desire too much of a good thing?" That is a possibility with this boy! Meet Shakespeare, a 1 year old, active, Black and Tan Doxie mix. Shakespeare was turned into the City Shelter as a cruelty case because his prior owners never adjusted or replaced his puppy collar; as he grew, the collar became so tight that the flesh literally had to grow around it. Lucky for Shakespeare, his injury has been treated and he seems to have come away from this horrible experience emotionally unharmed.

This cute little Smooth Hair Fox Terrier has found a good home to take care of him and give him all the love, attention and exercise he needs. Rio D. is very sweet, he is great with other dogs and wonderful with kids. Rio D. will make a wonderful pet with lots of potential for agility.

Dunkin (formerly Christian) is a beautiful brown & tan, 8-lb. Chihuahua. This G.Q. of a man is estimated to be about 2-years-old. Obviously quite stunning, He has not let his good looks go to his head. He is a little timid at first, but once he knows that you're not going to hurt his tender heart, (yes, he's a softy), he get very friendly and lovable. Dunkin is well mannered, very poised, and is the perfect guy to take home to your parents...
