Our needs are diversified. We seek funds for general operations, veterinary care (surgeries and Heartworm treatments), support for educational programs, transportation, spay and neuter surgeries, and of course pet supply and food. We also accept donations such as vehicles, office supply and household items which can be auctioned off to benefit the organization.

You can also donate your car, truck, trailer, boat or cycle to benefit PAWS. You will receive a great tax deduction and help us care for homeless animals. We will make arrangements to conveniently and quickly pick-up your vehicle donation at no cost to you. We will handle the title transfer requirements and provide you with a tax deductible donation receipt. Each donated vehicle is resold at public auction and the revenue is used to fund cruelty investigations and veterinary care for abused and neglected animals.

Our dogs are taken out of shelters and bad situations and placed in foster homes. Foster families care for the dogs until we can find them a permenant loving home. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can save. If you are able to provide a temporary home and you have the time to share some love with an orphaned animal, please e-mail us for a foster application.

Choosing a rescue dog to sponsor is a great opportunity for those who cannot foster. The average cost to care for each dog is approximately $180; vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, heartworm/flea preventative and of course food. Many of our dogs need additional medical care such as Heartworm treatment, dental care, mange treatments and surgeries. Cost of veterinary care does add up and we rely on caring people to help us fund these treatments. If you would like to become a sponsor, you can make monthly donations, or you can go to our Special Need page and sponsor a specific dog in need. Any amount will be helpful.
